Gloria Freeman-Fromayan

Mrs. Gloria Freeman-Fromayan brings over thirty years of distinguished experience in American-style international education to the LIS Board of Directors. Her extensive background spans classroom teaching, curriculum development, and educational leadership across diverse cultural communities.

 

Mrs. Freeman-Fromayan holds a Master’s Degree in Education from The College of New Jersey, a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Central Connecticut State University, and a Certificate in International School Leadership from the Principal Training Center in Florida. This strong academic foundation supports her comprehensive approach to educational excellence.

 

Her career highlights include serving as Lower School Principal, where she supervised faculty and managed comprehensive school operations, coordinating professional development and admissions processes. As Curriculum Coordinator, she trained teachers in Atlas Rubicon curriculum software, ensuring effective implementation of educational programs.

 

Mrs. Freeman-Fromayan’s commitment to international education standards is demonstrated through her service on accreditation teams for schools across Africa (ECIS, MSA) and her role as Chairperson of the Teaching and Learning section during the reaccreditation process at International Community School of Abidjan (ICSA).

Her multicultural teaching experience has provided invaluable insights into serving diverse student populations, making her particularly well-suited to guide LIS’s international educational mission. Mrs. Freeman-Fromayan is married and has one daughter.
