Our Community

A school family where your child is known, grows in faith, and learns to lead

At Luke International School, parents, teachers, and students share one purpose: raising children of strong character who love to learn. The best way to understand our community is to spend a morning with us.

Faith that shapes everyday life

Christian values guide how children learn, play, and treat one another throughout the school day.

Teachers who see their work as a calling.

Our staff know each child by name and care about who they are becoming, as well as how they perform.

Traditions that honor every culture.

Cultural Day, Martin Luther King Spirit Days, and other celebrations teach students to respect their own heritage and appreciate the heritage of others.

Room to grow beyond the classroom.

Students take part in athletics, the annual Spelling Bee, performing arts, clubs, and international field trips to countries such as Ghana and Cameroon.

Parents as true partners.

Families stay involved through volunteering opportunities, PTA meetings, progress reports, and regular school updates.

What parents say

Safety and order

"From the first visit, the school felt calm and well organized. I know where my children are and who is looking after them."

Teachers

"The teachers know my child. When something is wrong, they call me, and when something goes well, they tell me that too."

Settling in after a move

"We wanted a Christian school that still took academics seriously. Our son reads with confidence now, and he's learning to be kind and honest in how he treats others."

Wondering whether LIS is the right fit for your child?

Admissions are open throughout the year as space allows, and a visit is the simplest way to find out.
