Gloria Freeman-Fromayan is a professional administrator and educator with over thirty years of experience; mainly American style education. She has a certificate in International School Leadership from the Principal Training Center in Florida, Masters Degree in Education from the College of New Jersey & a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Central Connecticut State University. All of these years have been spent in the classroom contributing to the development of education of the young population and participating in the administration of the respective institutions she has worked in, thereby ensuring the smooth performance of these schools. She has a long, productive career in teaching various communities, a factor that has enriched her experience by making it possible for her to interact positively with persons from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Mrs. Freeman-Fromayan has had the honour of serving as a member of accreditation  team visits to other international schools in Africa (ECIS, MSA), as well as acting as Chairperson of the Teaching and Learning section for the reaccreditation process at the International Community School of Abidjan (ICSA). She served as Curriculum Coordinator, training teachers to use the curriculum software Atlas Rubicon and also served as lower school principal, supervising teachers and managing the lower school, coordinating professional development and admissions. These various experiences have enhanced her capabilities as an all-round educator. Gloria is married and has a daughter.

Rosalind Brown

Rosalind Brown received a Master of Arts in International Education, with specialty in International Development from New York University in August 1994 and graduated with an Economics and Finance Bachelor’s degree from Bentley College in 1990. She currently works as a Director of Belife Insurance in Cote d’Ivoire and Cameroon. Previously, she worked for the United Nations in New York as Assistant Secretary for the Board of Auditors and Financial Office for the Department of Peace-keeping Operations from 1998 to 2012. She is a co-founder of The Vine International School in Liberia, an elementary school founded in 2013. Rosalind is the founder of the Liberian Association of Unity and Development an NGO founded in 1996 that helps Liberians in need and promotes educational achievement and spiritual growth. She is also a co-founder of AGAPE, an NGO in Cameroon that provides scholarships and a safe environment for street kids to study and receive tutoring. Rosa is married with children.

Martha Rahman

Martha Rahman holds a B.Se. degree in biblical studies and a master’s degree in Christian Education from Carolina University of Theology in the United States, Martha has taught for 18 years. She is also the founder of two elementary schools: The Vine International School located in Cameroon and Liberia. She obtained a certification in Educational Leadership for School Administrators from Kaieteur Falls University, College of education in Guyana, but prior, she also received training at the Pensacola Christian College USA, for Principals for the ABEKA Curriculum. She established a program for early child reading in villages in Liberia. she is the CO-Founder of Strategic Leadership training for Kingdom Advance in Cameroon. She catalyzes women in Leadership. She is a dynamic woman interested in voluntary works concerning children and the youths. She is married to Halal, and has two sons Joshua and Nathan.

Julienne Pillah

Mrs. Julienne Pillah brings extensive business leadership and educational expertise to the LIS Board of Directors. As co-founder of Luke International School, she combines her passion for Christian education with proven executive experience.

Mrs. Pillah holds a specialized diploma in Business Administration and Financial Management and is currently pursuing her PhD in International Relations and Diplomacy at IFG Africa. Her doctoral research focuses on “The Power of Moral and Cultural Values in Education in Africa: The Case of Côte d’Ivoire,” directly aligning with LIS’s mission of values-based education.

With over a decade of executive experience at Citibank and as a successful entrepreneur in the restaurant industry, Mrs. Pillah brings valuable financial and operational insight to the school’s leadership. She also served as manager of a prominent Christian Cultural Center for nearly ten years, demonstrating her commitment to faith-based community building.

Mrs. Pillah is actively involved in various professional associations and community organizations. She and her husband are proud parents of five children.
